Manipulators with Servo Controlled Micro Tweezers with Rotary Axis

The FMP Image Station combines a choice of a Trinocular or Monocular Microscope with high resolution digital video camera and one or two

Micro Manipulator Units on an XY stage large enough to hold two microtiter plates. A UV camera and light source can be optionally mounted

to the rear of the Microscope so automated imaging with both can occur. The Micro Manipulators can be equipped with a variety of standard

and custom tools. Each manipulator has a standard XYZ axis plus an optional Rotary Tool axis. When equipped with Micro Tweezers, the

tweezers compression is servo controlled for delicate handling of spespecimens or micro structures. The Micro Syringe has a capacity of

0.1 ul to 10 ul to 10 ul and can be used for a variety of tasks either slide or microtiter related. The Harvesting Tools allow semi automated

harvesting of crystals as small as 5 microns without the need for delicate hand manipulation. Two axis Specimen Positioner gives 3D viewing

of entomology specimens.

Micro Tweezers close up. Manipulator can use any standard size tweezers.

Pressure of tweezers is servo controlled and tweezers can rotate as well.

Control is by Joystick or screen controls.
